Orange Fluorescent Live-Cell Permanent DNA and Cytoplasmic Dye

This app note describes the use of CyTRAK Orange™ in hyperphosphatemic familial tumoral calcinosis (HFTC) screening. CyTRAK is a permanent dsDNA- binding probe that allows for live-cell labeling and is used to highlight, and consequently separate, nucleated cells using flow cytometry. It overcomes many of the traditional issues of nucleated cell differentiation, such as lengthy process time, release of debris and inconsistent results.
