Primary Cancer Cell Culture from Human Tumor Samples

22 May 2018

The complex organization of cancer cells complicates the purification and characterization of the causative subpopulation of cancer driving cells. In addition, the lack of specific cell markers and selective in vitro culture methods complicates this further. This brochure describes how the PromoCell primary cancer cell culture system can overcome these caveats to selectively support the growth of malignant cancer cells, derived from primary patient tumors. This system also supports long term cancer cell culture whilst maintaining tumor heterogeneity.
