Screening Microorganisms on the iQue Screener

Microorganisms offer a host of valuable features that are not always available in mammalian cell lines. This application note describes the analysis of cells, beads and microorganisms singly or in mixtures, including yeast, protozoa, and bacteria on the iQue Screener. The iQue Screener enables monitoring of growth and productivity by E. coli, expression of membrane proteins on Tetrahymena, and protein-protein interactions via transcriptional control in Saccharomyces.
