SuperSpinner D 1000: Attachment Dependent Cell Cultivation on Microcarriers

This application note describes the cultivation of two different adherent cell lines, CHO-K1 and MC3T3, on microcarriers in the SuperSpinner D 1000, a cultivation device with an integrated membrane aeration system. Microcarriers are matrices allowing the growth of adherent cells in bioreactors. Cell cultures were assessed for cell number and viable cell density.
