Using RP Chromatography in Combination with DAWN for Protein Characterisation

13 Jul 2017

HPLC reversed phased (RP) chromatography is commonly used for protein characterization, however normally each eluted fraction must be analysed with other techniques for absolute identification. This application note demonstrates how adding a miniDAWN or DAWN detector to an HPLC system enables measurement of absolute molar masses directly, and to observe the properties of the protein in solutiuon. This greatly simplifies protein purification.
