Whole Mount Microtissue Staining in GravityTRAP Plates

22 Sept 2015

Fluorescence imaging of cells has become a valuable tool for the analysis and evaluation of biochemical and morphological characteristics. Classically in cell biology, methods have been established in monolayer cultures or tissue sections. Next to sections, whole microtissue cultures can be processed for immunofluorescence analysis. InSphero microtissues are delivered in the GravityTRAP plate which allows for processing and imaging in a 96-well format. This application note describes the protocol for fixed microtissues, although live stains can also be performed.
