Workflow for food classification and authenticity using Yerba Mate and high-resolution GC/Q-TOF

In this application note, Agilent describes a novel food authenticity workflow that can be used for food classification and detection of food fraud. As an example, different brands of yerba mate, a tea from South America, will be considered. This workflow employs high-resolution GC/Q-TOF and Classifier software that can be used for routine authenticity analysis beyond food applications.
