Advancing Redox Biology with the CLARIOstar

Prince Saforo Amponsah, PhD Student at the University of Kaiserslauten, is interested in redox biology and its effect on cellular physiology. In this video, Amponsah discusses how using the CLARIOstar^® microplate reader in his research enables highly sensitive detection of changes in subcellular redox status, in medium to high throughput. He describes how the ability to adjust bandwidths with the LVF monochromator enables detection of many sensors in one run. In the future, this could enable multiple redox measurements across subcellular compartments, in order to understand redox cross-talk.
