In this video, Dr. Melvin de Jesus Flores, from the University of Puerto Rico at Humacao (UPRH), discusses how he saved his lab's Bruker NMR from damage after Hurricane Maria left the lab flooded and without power. Now, the NMR lab is back in working order and Melvin has high expectations for the future, including better preparations for the next hurricane season and improved facilities for the Department of Chemistry.
