Sterilwave 100 – Onsite biohazardous waste management solution

In this video, Bertin Technologies presents Sterilwave 100, an innovative onsite solution for managing biohazardous waste (BHW). Eco-friendly and user-friendly, the Sterilwave system is installed directly within healthcare units. It is cost-effective and fully automated, using microwave technology to shred and sterilize hazardous medical waste into inert municipal waste. With a tank capacity of 100 L, the Sterilwave 100 can treat up to 20 kg/h of biomedical waste. This solution offers an 80% reduction in waste volume and a 20% reduction in waste mass.
