Using Ion Chromatography with High Resolution Mass Spectrometry for Metabolic Profiling of Three Representative Food Diet Samples

Dr Khalil Divan, Senior Director of Global Marketing, Food and Beverage Group, Thermo Fisher Scientific, presents a poster on the use of ion chromatography coupled to high resolution accurate mass (HRAM) spectrometers for analyzing metabolomic pathways and profiling in diet samples. The small polar metabolites are separated using a Thermo Scientific ™ Dionex™ IonPac™ AS11-HC IC Column. This is followed by detection by a HRAM spectrometer and identification of the metabolite using Thermo Scientific™ Compound Discoverer™ Software.
