BAC’s CaptureSelect will purify all four subclasses of human IgG (IgG1-4) and all kappa and lambda IgG Fab fragments without co-purification of free light chains. CaptureSelect consists of an affinity ligand with excellent selectivity and specificity for the CH1 domain of the human IgG heavy chain, immobilised on high-capacity agarose-based beads.

CaptureSelect IgG-CH1 offers:

• One product for any human IgG antibody format – eliminates evaluation of protein A, L or G for each individual antibody or Fab
• Specificity – no binding to free light chains and no cross binding to bovine IgG molecules thus enabling purification if FCS is present
• A simple protocol for purification of Fab and F(ab’)2 fragments generated from IgG digests, e.g. in combination with CaptureSelect Human Fc
• High Capacity – supporting a high loading capacity
• Single step usage – primary capture dramatically reduces the purification steps and time
• Flexible formats – explore our website for alternative formats, HT and pre-packed columns, 96 well plates, etc.

IgG-CH1 is the latest addition to BAC’s CaptureSelect Antibody Toolbox® suite of laboratory scale antibody and antibody fragment purification media. CaptureSelect ligand technology is based on unique Camelid single chain antibody fragments, which can be selected for desirable chromatographic characteristics and produced at high-titres in a proprietary S. cerevisiae strain.
