Pall Corporation, a global leader in filtration, separation and purification, has announced the Crixus™ Fluid Monitoring Platform, a fluid cleanliness management solution designed to provide industrial customers with intelligent fluid monitoring. Pall’s Crixus patent-pending fluid monitoring platform meets the growing need for lubrication and hydraulic fluid cleanliness in industrial manufacturing equipment and filter performance.

“Companies are constantly looking for ways to lower their operating spend and improve productivity, and now look to automation and digitization to achieve those goals,” said Greg Collins, Vice President and General Manager of Fluid Technologies & Asset Protection, Pall Corporation. “We are the first to bring fluid cleanliness management for lube and hydraulic applications into the Internet of Things (IoT) by using a series of process sensors, connected to a cloud-based predictive analytics platform.”

The Crixus Fluid Monitoring Platform provides real-time data that instantly flags performance issues and warns of potential problems. Information from the Cloud is pushed to the Crixus mobile and web app where systems and applications from multiple sites can be monitored.

“This is the first step toward Pall’s continuous involvement in the next stage of IoT development for the Industrial and Life Sciences marketplaces,” said Martin Smith, Pall’s Chief Technology Officer. “Pall is leading the charge in delivering continuous innovation through the development of smart sensors coupled with best performing filtration technologies.”

Watch for Pall to deliver additional Industry 4.0 IoT innovations to the segments it serves.
