Good reliable instrument

Easy to use system. Very solid build and customer care in very short response time. Using the counter for 5 years now with only one problem at the beginning-vial was not properly closed and after measurement, the chamber was blocked with the vial without the cap. Solved it with telephone help from Hidex. It did not need any service yet (it is not used every day-sometimes not even in weeks-during corona even less).

The counter has a unique three PMT detector which enables Triple to Double Coinciencidence Ratio counting. This enables easy determination of sample counting effiency without any external or internal standard.
The counter will have an optional external standard for traditional quench level determination(available may 2008). Other options include alpha/beta separation, Sample temperature cooling to 15 degrees(available may 2008) and low level counting(available end of 2008).
System is completely controlled from a PC and the software has 21 CFR part 11 compliancy as an option for secure handling of data.
