Analyze fish liver DNA methylation
It is a very effective and sensitive kit with high quality results and very easy to use. The incubation temperature is very important. It most be at the indicated temperature for optimal results. The antibodies has to be treated with care to maintain the optimal conditions.

DNA methylation in fish
The 5-mC DNA ELISA Kit is a very effective and sensitive DNA methylation kit that contributes to the epigenetic research for non-model species that don’t have a sequenced genome. The results show high quality, and the kit is easy to use. The incubation periods and the temperature in each step are very important to get reliable results. Value for money rating: In Latin America it is usually more expensive due to taxes and acquisition costs.

5mC DNA methylation ELIZA
5mC DNA methylation kit is easy to carry out, relatively quick, and nice cost performance. The only thing would be: can't stop the reaction. Maybe it is great if color development can be stopped by adding acid solution (just like other ELISA kits).

Epigenetic modulations
I purchased a P5mC DNA ELISA kit for assessing DNA methylation in the hippocampus of the rat brain, and I found its works very nice, easy to do this experiment as the user manual is well elaborative and self-explanatory. Results are highly reproducible and their interpretation is also very easy. Once I stuck with standard graph preparation, therefore I wrote to the customer care executive and he responded very well and assisted me to resolve my problem. I am highly satisfied with this product and suggest to all my friends to must consider it while planning to study epigenetic modulations. Its value of money and its timely delivery support me to submit my work on time.

Analyze total methylation level in tissue samples
This product is nothing but great; easy to perform the assay, and consistent results. The only issue is, customer service. Initially, particular reagent didn't work, so we requested a replacement. However, no replacement so far. Nonetheless, most reagents are perfect.

Global DNA methylation in bacteria
It is a user friendly kit to detect global methylation level. However, the sensitivity was low especially for bacteria. The standards worked well but my samples showed zero methylation which is against the nature :) When I used another kit (different manufacturer) I have obtained reasonable results confirming the literature. I liked the good correlation and low error bars between the replicates of standards, which is serious problem in other kits. To summarize, it should be improved a lot to increase the reliability. The price is reasonable compared with the other manufacturer’s methylation kits.

cytosine modifications
This product is efficient in estimating global levels of 5mC in DNA from multiple tissue types. The workflow is straightforward and can be completely in several hours.

The ability to efficiently detect and quantify DNA methylation (i.e., 5-methylcytosine) has become essential for epigenetic-based research. To date, a number of methods have been developed for this purpose including high-performance capillary electrophoresis, bisulfite sequencing, and methylated DNA immunoprecipitation.
The 5-mC DNA ELISA Kit is a convenient and powerful tool that allows the researcher to accurately quantitate 5-mC in any DNA sample in less than 3 hours. The kit features a unique Anti-5-Methylcytosine monoclonal antibody that is both sensitive and specific for 5-mC. The assay is compatible with a wide range of input DNA from vertebrate, plant, and microbial sources as well as PCR amplicons and fragmented DNA. Percent 5-mC in a DNA sample can be accurately quantified from a standard curve generated with specially designed controls included with the kit. Also, the fast, streamlined workflow is ideal for high-throughput analyses.
