Identification and control of residual solvents
Agilent 7697A Headspace Sampler has got great capacity of 111 samples by three 36 vial racks plus three priority positions. Headspace sampler can equilibrate (heat and shake) 12 samples simultaneously. It reduces significantly the time of analysis. The simple robotic arm, which transports headspace vials into the oven and back makes mistakes (headspace vial can fall out) very rarely: the probability is less than 1 ‰. It is for us acceptable. You have to reckon, that this headspace sampler should be connected to the gas chromatograph from the right side. The headspace sampler has got excellent reproducibility. I recommend this product.

The Agilent 7697A Headspace Sampler is based on the architecture of the 7890 GC and 7693A Automatic Liquid Sampler line of products. Automatic Leak Check ensures each vial is leak-free prior to analysis, with no loss of precision or sensitivity. Hydrogen can be safely used as an alternative carrier gas. Late-arriving important samples can be accommodated with Priority Sample Positions feature. Barometric pressure compensation automatically adjusts for changes in atmospheric pressure resulting in greater precision and consistent results across multiple labs.
