Overall a good machine.
Hematology
A worthwhile machine for a busy laboratory! It provides great value for money. The machine produces accurate and reproducible results. Through its auto-loader, batch testing is possible, running at least 80 samples within an hour. Because of its high-throughput, a good management of inventory is important as reagents are quickly consumed. Easy to use and great machine with CDSS advice to assist scientists in interpreting results such as differential counts. Maintenance is not cumbersome. Downtime is low but if not serviced on scheduled times, a problem relating to blocked tubes can affect parameters such as platelet counts. To avoid this problem, the machine should not miss scheduled service times. Can easily be integrated to a Laboratory Information System (LIS) such as MEDITECH for transmitting of results. Overall a good machine.
