Glucometer
The surgery center where I work recently started using the Accu check 2. As a nurse, I require equipment that is user friendly, fast as well as accurate. The product is too big and awkward. I have a hard time holding it. It is too difficult to push buttons on the device. I HATE not having an individual packet of strips with a bar code. It’s too much to have to take a canister around with you to scan. Plus, we only have two canisters, so we are constantly having to ask eachother for their strips. The strips are too flimsy and they are hard to work with. Surely, you did not speak with a healthcare worker before designing this monstrosity I do like the speed of receiving the result.
