Protein purification
I have been using AKTA FPLC for more than 12 years now. The machine is really easy to use with very interactive interface. The issue comes always if you need to have service. It's hard to get service and also they don't have a good system for following up on the maintenance

Scale-up
ÄKTATM avant 150 is designed for scaling up to larger columns, such as HiScale and AxiChrom columns, as well as fine-tuning and robustness testing of the optimized process before moving on to the pilot scale. Intelligent Packing of the smallest AxiChrom columns, with 50 and 70 mm inner diameters, is supported via preprogrammed packing methods.
