When I first purchased the AUTOLAB PGSTAT302N equipment, I mainly considered its multi-channel capability, strong expandability, wide current range, and ability to achieve high current. I can independently program according to experimental design needs, especially in the field of electrochemical performance testing and research of materials, The device I purchased includes a high current module and an impedance module, which can basically meet my research needs for basic electrochemical properties of materials. The test results of this device are very stable and have good reproducibility. With this device, our team has published dozens of high-level research papers. The advantage of this device is its powerful function, but it is somewhat difficult for some beginners, especially in English program editing and design, It is suggested that Wantong Company can learn from Chenhua's electrochemical workstation to appropriately sinicize the programs, simplify the program editing design, make it easier for beginners to operate, improve experimental research efficiency, and also enhance the market competitiveness of the product. The after-sales service provided by Swiss company Wantong is very good. When I was not proficient in this equipment in the early stages, engineers would come to my door multiple times to patiently answer questions and demonstrate operations on site. In addition, I would also have periodic phone calls for follow-up visits in the future. I think this was done very well. This device was priced at over 200000 yuan at the time, and I think it was worth it. If there is sufficient funding for future research, I will consider expanding the additional functions of the device to make the research work smoother.

Electrochemical corrosion of different materials
Autolab PGSTAT302N is a very useful and reliable instrument from Metrohm for electrochemical data acquisition. It gives reproducible data for both linear polarisation and FRA (in case of impedance spectroscopy). Nova 1.1 software is user-friendly and any method can be saved for future use in similar experiments.

Biosensors development
I used PGSTAT 302N mainly to perform EIS measurements in the development of electrochemical biosensors based on screen-printed electrodes. I found it particularly perfomant in this specific operational conditions, with high reproducibility and signal stability. Moreover, the easiness of Nyquist plot fitting with NOVA software allowed me to simplify data elaboration. I did not directly request a quotation for it since the instrument was already present in the lab, but I can imagine that such instrumentation is not exactly cheap as another. It has also to be taken into consideration that such instrument offers a great variety of techniques to be performed, so it definitely worth its value. I would certainly recommend it!

Cycling stability and performance of batteries and supercapacitor
The Autolab 302N is fully capable of battery research as well as supercapacitors. The results are highly reproducible. The NOVA 2.0 software is very user-friendly and has many inbuilt procedures. With the FRA module, you can extend the capability of this instrument further. It also comes with an optional temperature-dependent sample holder.
