NMR is a highly sophisticated instrument worth Rs~2 Crore but it is very easy to handle. Although a high-end instrument requires maintenance regularly and it costs a little bit more compared to other instruments. I must say it is the lifeline for every organic chemist without which we can't think of a day in the lab. Now the usage has been extended to every other field where people are depending on this instrument on regular basis. The commands are very easy to use and it's an all-in-one instrument.

Material and chemical characterisation
I used it in my chemistry lab during my undergraduate degree, with good reproducibility results. It is a very reliable instrument which definitely contributed to the efficiency of my characterisation work. It is also a fairly easy piece of laboratory hardware to learn to use.

Very easy to use, good for teaching labs/ doing a lot of NMR spectroscopy at once. Very reproducible, was good at producing NMR for analyzing. Not the purchaser so wouldn't know what about value for money and post purchase care.
