A good add-on for drift correction, no tool for quantitative work with intensities.

Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) drift correction

The Protochips AXON gives a reliable drift correction also for samples with extremely strong contrast changes over time (also days). However, the actual correction goes (naturally) stepwise, leading to the necessity to post-check (and drift correct a second time). It must be emphasized, that the software generally allows to record and analyze data, but pay attention to the intensity values since it (also in raw format) is storing the data in compressed format (including histogram shifts). Consequently, to my experience, it is not a tool for quantitative work rather than a basic drift correction add-on for long-time experiments.
