We offer the following cell lines for studying bone growth and development:
- IDG-SW3 Bone Cell Line: replicates osteoblast to late osteocyte differentiation in vitro and increases bone formation in vivo
- Murine Osteocyte-like Cell Line MLO-Y4: useful for studying the effects of fluid flow and substrate stretching on the activation of osteocyte-specific signaling pathways; offers high expression of osteocalcin, connexin 43 and the antigen E11
- Murine Osteocyte-like Cell Line MLO-A5: model for osteoblast-to-osteocyte differentiation, the mineralization process and the effects of mechanical loading on biomineralization; expresses various markers of the late osteoblast
