CAS-MAP™ P apoptosis probe utilizes the caspase family inhibitor VAD-FMK conjugated to a fluorescent label (green, red or near infrared). The VAD-FMK probe is cell permeable, nontoxic, and irreversibly binds to activated caspases in apoptotic tissue. For deeper tissue penetration, the near infrared probe is recommended.
