Effectiveness: While the software does have many cell types pre-programmed, the cell type that I use was not one of them. While I tried to optimize the settings from scratch, the software had difficulties distinguishing between cells and debris, likely as my cells are small to begin with. Ease-of-Use: It is easy enough to prepare your sample, and once the software is optimized it is easy to count the cells. However, it is tricky to get the software optimized. After-sales Care: The customer support was very helpful with assisting me with setting up the instrument and training me on its use. Value for Money: The reusable slides are an issue in terms of consumable cost.

Cell count
The Nexcelom Cellometer Auto T4 Cell Counter is the perfect cell counter for day to day plating and banking cell counts. It is very easy to use, and quite accurate. Helps with consistent cell counts from experiment to experiment. Love the viability setting that allows you to see percent of dead cells. Very quick to use. The ability to add cell types quickly and easily is also very convenient.
