Vector construction/protein expression
The Cold Fusion Cloning Kit offers a greater degree of success compared with traditional cloning methods. We have used the technology to generate several clones, all of which were successful in the first attempt. The required modified primer design is easy to understand and implement regardless of host vector. We cultured hundreds of colonies containing our newly constructed plasmid - confirmed by DNA sequencing – prior to protein expression. This method should become your de facto standard as it removes the uncertainty in vector construction.
