Good yield and easy to use, but high contamination.

Average Rating 4.0

Application Area:

Isolate small extracellular vesicles/exosomes from plasma

The kit is easy to use and the yield of extracellular vesicles is high. However, there are some contamination issues, including high amounts of lipids and clotting factors (ie fibrin) which can still clot if resuspended in cell culture media containing calcium. This is a substantial problem for functional assays testing the effects of EVs on cultured cells. The yield/contamination of this kit is very similar to that of the Total Exosome Isolation Kit (Invitrogen).

Great results.

Average Rating 5.0

Application Area:

Exosome isolation

Easy to use and gives highly purified exosomes quickly. Saved lot of time as compared to ultracentrifugation method.

ExoQuick and ExoQuick-TC for quick and reliable exosome isolation

ExoQuick and ExoQuick-TC enable high-throughput, quantitative exosome isolation from low sample volumes (as little as 100 µl serum). Using these unique, polymer-based reagents, exosomal vesicles are gently and reliably precipitated from solution. Compatible with virtually any biofluid and a wide variety of downstream applications, ExoQuick and ExoQuick-TC are effective and proven (1-3) alternatives to ultracentrifugation.

Use ExoQuick for plasma, serum, and ascites fluid

Use ExoQuick-TC for all other biofluids

  • Quick and easy—simple protocol isolates exosomes in as little as 30 minutes
  • Universal—enables exosome isolation from all biofluids tested to-date
  • Broadly applicable—isolated exosomes perform well in a variety of downstream applications, including miRNA profiling, NGS, and mass spec analysis
  • Functional—isolated exosomes are intact and bioactive for functional studies and engineering
