I have had the best experience with open biosystems. Long before I even ordered, I was in contact with a person in Open Biosystems who helped me search my gene, answered my questions and answered my emails sometimes within the hour. We decided to go with the high-titer virus instead of making them ourselves. They gave us a quote and the quote which I got directly from Open Biosystem was 10 times cheaper (not exactly sure why) than from Thermo directly. But anyway, the virus worked great. I got 99% transfection efficiency and 90% knockdown of my protein. I love this product and would recommend it to all. I used this for b cells (non-adherent cells) and there were no protocols around. But from 23% efficiency at day 3 without puromycin to 99% on day 7. I was set to go within a week.
