The cell has a good receptor for the toxin that we are assessing, and it does as expected if the vaccinated animal serum does not contain the neutralizing antibodies. It gives excellent results.

Application

J774A.1 cell line has been used to test the cytotoxicity of [1,2,3]triazolo[1,5-a]pyridinium salts (having leishmanicidal activity) from triazolopyridines. It has also been used to determine the antitrypanosomatid activity of flavonoid glycosides isolated from Delphinium sps.
