Cross reactivity
Reacts with bovine and rabbit snout and lip epithelium. Reacts with some oral mucosa epithelium. This antibody also reacts with rabbit corneal epithelial cells in cultured cell lines.
Specificity
Reacts with cytokeratin 3 (64 kD) from human corneal epithelium and cytokeratin 2 "p" of plate epithelium. Is an excellent marker for studying corneal epithelial-type differentiation.
