Cryopreservation of pluripotent stem cells
This product is very effective for feeder free pluripotent stem cell culture. We used controlled freezer and this product as a cryopreservation solution. We achieve reproducible results for all human pluripotent stem cells in our lab. We recommend using small IPA based controlled freezers with this product. It is very easy to use and knowledge center is very helpful.

mFreSR™ is a defined, serum-free cryopreservation medium designed for the cryopreservation of human embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cells (ES and iPS cells). mFreSR™ contains dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) and is complete and ready-to-use. Together with mTeSR™1, TeSR™2, or mTeSR™ Plus, mFreSR™ eliminates the use of feeders and serum. Human ES and iPS cells cryopreserved in mFreSR™ have thawing efficiencies higher than reported conventional thawing methods using serum.
