he MOLECUBES modular preclinical in vivo imaging platforms bring together the most compact micro-CT (X-CUBE), micro-SPECT (γ-CUBE), and micro-PET (β-CUBE) scanners in the field of molecular small-animal imaging. Designed for both standalone use and seamless modular integration, these systems offer exceptional versatility, image quality, and ease of use for in vivo imaging of mice and rats.
β-CUBE | PET Imaging
A high-performance preclinical PET scanner, the β-CUBE delivers sub-millimeter resolution through a combination of monolithic scintillators, the latest photon counting technology and GPU-based event positioning, and iterative image reconstruction. The 5-ring configuration ensures best-in-class sensitivity over a field of view that is adequate for whole-body mouse and rat imaging at a high count rate. In-house hardware enables dynamic and gated studies.
γ-CUBE | SPECT Imaging
The γ-CUBE provides high-resolution, high-sensitivity SPECT imaging using patented lofthole technology and laser-sintered collimators combined with high-resolution detectors. Designed for true benchtop use, this system supports imaging with all common SPECT tracers and delivers fast reconstruction and superior image quality.
X-CUBE | CT Imaging
The X-CUBE is a compact, high-throughput CT scanner offering low-dose, fast whole-body imaging with outstanding soft tissue contrast. It supports advanced workflows such as gated and contrast-enhanced imaging and features self-shielding for easy mobility and lab integration.
Key Features:
- Multimodal integration: Each unit can be used independently or combined with the others via the MOLECUBES multimodal small-animal bed to enable PET/CT, SPECT/CT, or full PET/SPECT/CT imaging workflows.
- Intuitive software: Wireless, user-friendly acquisition software simplifies operation across all modalities.
- Compact & mobile: All systems feature a benchtop footprint and are self-shielded for flexible lab installation.
