Sample coating
This Japanese sputtering device was used briefly in our experiment to prepare samples for scanning electron microscopy. The sputtering device could effectively coat the samples with platinum (as intended) and results were satisfying.

This device is dedicated to precious metal thin film coating for SEM observation. It is a device that performs precious metal coating to prevent charge-up of SEM samples and improve the efficiency of secondary electron generation. In addition to low-voltage discharge by the magnetron target electrode, the sample table is made to float to reduce sample damage due to electron beam inflow. The operation is easy, just push a button and there is no skill. It is small and does not take up space. Useful in the corner of the desk.
