Great pipetting.
Sample preparation
I love that I can pipette a consistent volume over a number of aliquots of liquid samples. It means my thumb gets more of a rest and will help reduce the chance of getting RSI from frequent pipetting. There are a great range of tips to handle different volumes so it is handy for a wide range of sample preparations.

Good product, but the same bad Eppendorf customer service

Product works as it should and Eppendorf has a decent quality/price ratio - too bad their customer service is one of the worst. On their website, Eppendorf has a sample section where you can order free samples for this pipette, as it only works with specific tips. After asking for a few tips with a smaller volume to see if it fits, Eppendorf just passed us away to some local distributor that couldn't manage to provide them, and replied to our email with a weeks delay. Talking about Eppendorf's horrible customer service, they don't have a real section on their web page where you can raise complaints. Personally, I think you can get a better bargain and good customer service somewhere else.

In comparison to glass pipets ans what I will call micropipets it increased the ease to use, the quality of the results (eg: better r² of the standard curves) and cost of use is pretty low as the "combitips" are easy to rince with barly no carry over.

Good ergonomics!
RNA extraction
I've been using Eppendorf Repeater M4 for the RNA isolation process. The washing step doesn't need to get very accurate volume, therefore using Eppendorf repeater M4 is the best pipette for this process. It is very light so it is a good ergonomic tool. You can adjust the volume from 1 ul to 10 ml, all you need is to use the correct tips.
