Small molecule synthesis
This product is very high quality, yielding clean spectra and multiple different ways of obtaining said spectra, especially with the presence of multiple nuclei (1H, 13C, and 19F NMRs). In addition, it is also very easy to use.

Great QC or teaching NMR.
Unknown small molecules and ID confirmations
This is a benchtop NMR system. It is pretty easy to use once you are familiar with basic NMR concepts and operation. The built-in software is good for data collection, but you'll need an external package to do any significant processing. It is ideal for a QC environment or for teaching. It is good enough for our R&D purposes, but just barely.

Very easy to use instrument, extremely fast and intuitive software. Great support for analysis. Not super applicable for our current application (not very portable) and sensitivity fairly low.
