Nucleofector® II Device
The basic Nucleofector® II Device is a single cuvette based system that has been used in research labs since 2001. It allows efficient transfection of hard-to-transfect cell lines and primary cells with different substrates, e.g. DNA vectors or siRNA oligonucleotides, in low throughput format. What benefits are important for your work? Efficient transfection in single cuvette format? Up to 90% efficiency with plasmid DNA…

Transfection
This system works exactly as intended. Nucleofections are easier to perform as well as scalable to low and high throughput. Great service and wide selection of protocols available with minimal troubleshooting and not very expensive.

Nucleofection Of Primary Cortical Neurones (E16)
I use the lonza kits (cuvettes) and provided buffer. On the day of plating I get over 80% nucleofection in general and minimal cell death. I've used this product to nucleofect primary cortical, striatal, hippocampal and mixed cultures with great success.

mice hippocampal neuron
I used this equipment to study the mophology of neuronal cytoskelon in cell line induced neurons and primary culture hippocampal neurons and cortical neurons.
