Droplet Digital PCR System, includes droplet generator, droplet reader, laptop computer, software, associated component consumables, for EvaGreen or probe-based digital PCR applications
Analyzing genome copies
This is my first time to use this system. I was amazed by how easy and robust this system is - the duplicated wells gave very tight results. The reproducibility was impressive.

Quantification of fungi and bacteria in grape samples
Digital PCR is key in our lab when analysing certain samples. QX200 system is easy to use and allows the analysis of a 96 plate in a very short time. I wish reactives were cheaper!

Analyze the PCR efficiency
Absolute quantification — provides an absolute count of target DNA copies per input sample without the need for standard curves. Highest precision and sensitivity — enriched template concentration in target-positive droplets allows higher precision and sensitivity than real-time PCR. High throughput — simple and easy-to-use workflow with 96-sample throughput does not require multiple dilution steps. Removal of PCR efficiency bias — error rates are acceptable.

Develop safety assays
The device is very effective and robust. We developped VCN assay for release assay under GCLP conditions. Easy to use, linearity, accuracy, precision, LOB, LOD, LOQ, LLOQ, ULOQ, all parameters worked fine for us

Analyze genes and quantify with high reproducibility
This digital PCR system is very useful for generating several droplets from a single sample. High reproducibility and great quantification. It is very useful for detecting the sensitivity of the gene. The quality of the product is very high and reproducible and highly recommendable for gene expression analysis and transcriptomics experiments.

AAV samples for titer
I have two QX200 ddPCR systems in my lab. We use these instruments day in, day out for analysis of our AAV samples from Manufacturing and PD. They do a great job providing the throughput.

Use the QX200 Droplet Digital PCR (ddPCR™) system, the most precise and sensitive PCR solution, for absolute quantification of target DNA molecules.
Droplet Digital PCR (ddPCR™) is Bio-Rad's unique digital PCR technology. With unrivaled precision, ddPCR provides absolute quantification of target DNA or RNA molecules without the use of standard curves. ddPCR addresses the lack of scalable and practical technologies for digital PCR implementation.
The new QX200 ddPCR system puts this powerful technology in your hands, ready to unveil new worlds of research at previously unattainable levels.
The QX200 droplet generator partitions the ddPCR reaction mix into 20,000 nanoliter-sized droplets. After PCR on a thermal cycler, droplets from each sample are analyzed individually on the QX200 droplet reader. Droplets are sipped, and the singulator unpacks the emulsified droplets and streams them in single file past a two-color optical detection system in a serial manner. Up to 96 samples can be processed per run.
The PCR-positive and PCR-negative droplets are counted to provide absolute quantification of target DNA in digital form. Alternatively, amplified products can be extracted from droplets following PCR for downstream applications, such as sequencing or cloning.
