The Rodent Neuron Differentiation Kit is a system designed for the optimal differentiation of neural stem cells derived from rodents into neurons. Included in the kit are two neural inducers that when added to the Neural Stem Cell Basal Medium allows for the preferential differentiation of rodent neural stem cells to a neuronal lineage. Other components of the kit include reagents for the fixation and two antibodies for the immunocytochemical characterization of the resulting neuron population (mouse anti-βIII-tubulin for neurons and rabbit anti-GFAP for astrocytes).
