The Swift MaxPro thermal cycler has played an important role in my research field for the past six years. It comes in two separate block where we able to do two different amplification or PCR simultaneously which saves the time. Besides using it for PCR, I am using it for restriction enzyme digestion and also ligation where to get an accuracy in the temperature which I use for the respective process and incubation. It provides high heating and cooling effect with anexcellent temperature accuracy and uniformity. For PCR, this thermal cycler has been a backbone for me in isolating many genes from both bacteria and plant samples.
