Zetium Petro XRF (Petro edition of Zetium)
Norm-compliant elemental analysis
Sulfur in gasoline and diesel, chlorine on catalyst
Our laboratory has been testing for sulfur and chlorine for over 17 years using WDXRF technology. The first 14 years were pleasant. Those were the years when we had a Bruker instrument. We've had nothing but problems with the Zetium since the day we bought it! I'm not exaggerating when I say the instrument has been out of service for at least half of the time we've owned it. Customer service is horrible. The field technicians do their best but it seems their leadership is out of touch with what's actually happening out in the field and they can't seem to understand that the product we paid over $200k for is not good. I could go on and on but I'll end with this... Do not purchase a Malvern Panalytical product, ever unless you are ok with telling your leadership on an ongoing basis that "The Zetium is down again and they don't know when they will be able to fix it."
