Allegra X-15R Benchtop Centrifuge
Beckman Coulter Life SciencesSpin samples faster with the best swinging bucket in the industry
Centrifuges are used to separate particulates suspended in a liquid via the application of a centrifugal force including cells, macromolecules, nanoparticles and precipitates. Centrifuges come in three sizes: microcentrifuges, benchtop and floor-standing centrifuges, depending on the volume and number of samples that require separation. When choosing a centrifuge, consider its maximum separation power indicated by its relative centrifugal force (RCF) value. Low force centrifuges reach a maximum RCF of 8,000 g, high-force centrifuges can reach maximum RCF values of 80,000 g. For extremely high forces, consider ultracentrifuges (up to 800,000 g). Refrigerated and vacuum centrifuges also known as concentrators are available for more specialized applications. A range of volumes are available for centrifuge tubes and microfuge tubes, depending on sample sizes. Find the best centrifuges in our peer-reviewed product directory: compare products, check customer reviews and receive pricing direct from manufacturers.

Centrifuge 5920 R features extraordinary high capacity and performance. Its capacity of up to 4 x 1,000 mL / 52 x 50 mL conical tubes makes it the ideal instrument for high-throughput applications.
The latest addition to UCT’s QuEChERS line puts a new “spin” on dSPE. SpinFiltr™ combines the practice of conventional dSPE with the added benefit of ultrafiltration. UCT’s new format of dSPE salts paired with a 0.2µm filtration device, simultaneously removes unwanted matrix compounds and filters samples without the need for any additional steps. With traditional dSPE, analysts must pay close attention when removing t…
Biotix microcentrifuge tubes are boil proof and rated up to 20,000 RCF. Available in natural polypropylene or low binding format for use with proteins and other high viscosity samples.
Native-condition characterization for accurate results every time
There are three ranges of centrifuge tubes that are available from Alpha Laboratories. Our 5ml range is ideal for those in-between sample volumes where a 2ml microcentrifuge tube is too small but a 15ml tube is too large. SuperClear™ 15 and 50ml tubes are designed for more demanding molecular biology applications whilst the Apex ‘Essential’ range offers excellent value for everyday centrifugation and storage (0.5, 1.5 & 2ml).…
