Analysis of Migration Using the Oris™ Cell Migration Assay-TriCoated Kit on the POLARstar Omega
10 Apr 2011This application note by BMG Labtech demonstrates, with use of siRNA and a fluorescence based cell migration assay, that phosphoinositides are important for migration. Knockdown U2OS cells (transfected with three different siRNA pools) were used with the Platypus® Oris™ Cell Migration system. The effect of three different ECM components on migration was measured in real-time using a microplate reader fitted with a CO2 delivery system making it possible to keep cells in the plate reader for up to 48 hours.
