Characterization of DNA/RNA Triplex Formation
22 Apr 2021The study in this application note uses MicroScale Thermophoresis to characterize the formation of DNA/RNA triplex formations in vitro. These formations, formed by double stranded DNA forming triple helical complexes with a third strand of nucleic acids via Hoogsteenhydrogen bonds, have been shown to have a role in chromatin organization and transcriptional regulation. The MicroScale thermophoresis method described in this application note was performed on a NanoTemper Monolith NT.115 instrument.
