Speciation of Organotin Compounds in Biological Tissues by GC/ICP-MS

This application note describes the GC/ICP-MS (Clarus® GC and NexION® ICP-MS) speciation analysis of organotins, more specifically, mono-, di-, and tributyl-tin species in biological samples via external calibration. Special attention is given to the optimization of the GC transfer line parameters, which allows the coupling of the GC and ICP-MS.
