Studying Motor Neuron Disease with Fluorescence Microscopy and Electrophysiology

14 Apr 2016

Professor Richard Ribchester, from the University of Edinburgh, is part of a team studying neuromuscular junctions – the connections between motor neurons and muscle. They are using a mix of electrophysiological and imaging techniques to better understand synaptic degradation in Motor Neuron Disease (MND). Here Professor Ribchester describes how the optiMOS™ sCMOS Camera has been used in this research.
