Pathogen detection
Equipment is very reliable, easy to use and sturdy… we have this one for more than 11 years and have few problems (related to windows because of upgrades, we started with XP now we have windows 10). Software is intuitive and easy to use, I could say is a very good equipment to work with different applications of qPCR.

Instrument and software are very easy to use. Results obtained are reproducible. Software is very simple to use and many features are present to do your own edits. You can save and transfer your results in many different formats. Screen information is clear and precise. There is no bug during the run. You can monitor the results in between the runs with easiness. The instrument is good value for money.

Good instrument, but bad service.
Detecting expression of mRNA and miRNA in equine white blood cells
It has been used for over 10 years. The reaction set up is pretty straight-forward. They also provide all the consumables needed. We are satisfied with its easy use and robust results. However, recently there was something wrong with it, and the signal curves changed abruptly, but not smoothly. We ordered the repair service. The engineers tried 2 times, and could not figure out the solutions.

Analyze mRNA expression levels in animal tissue and cell culture
The system is very easy to use and maintain. The software is user-friendly and the user manual is very effective. When we have needed customer service a few times and found them very nice and efficient. There was little wait on the phone and they were able to do everything possible to answer our questions.

This machine is more easy to use than its upgraded version 7900. I found the software features very user-friendly. Ability to design your experiments in an intuitive manner is a plus. But it makes a lot of noise and the footprint is large.
