Aeris Core-Shell LC Columns for Proteins and Peptides
Core-Shell Particles Precision Engineered for Protein and Peptide Separations. Core-shell particle technology provides striking increases in peak capacity and resolution at lower backpressure, giving chromatographers the ability to achieve ultra-high performance on ANY system, HPLC or UHPLC. A uniform porous silica layer is grown around a solid, spherical silica core, providing effective retention and selectivi…
Analysing protein samples with HPLC
We found the Aeris column very effective for analysis of our multi-peptide samples by HPLC. Really good separation of a fairly complex mixtures. The results were very robust and reproducible and the after sales care was also great, to help us optimise our experiments.

Biosimilars
Phenomenex Aeris widepore columns are very useful and robust columns for Biosimilars like monoclonal antibodies analysis and peptide analysis. These columns showed higher resolution than Agilent, ACE and Waters columns with very low pressure.

Separation of excipient compounds
This column works extremely well to separate large molecules for quantitation in pharmaceutical formulations. Phenomenex always has deals to get columns cheaper than the list price, however you will need to get in touch with your local Phenomenex sales rep.

A uniform porous silica layer is grown around a solid, spherical silica core, providing effective retention and selectivity with improved resolution, speed, and recovery. Next, optimizing the pore size and shell thickness for intact proteins or smaller peptide fragments provides well-defined depth penetration of biomolecules leading to maximum separation power.
