The anti-p53 antibody reacts with wild-type and mutant forms of human p53 antigen. Immunogen: transcription domain within the NH2-terminal region. The epitope recognized by the anti-p53 antibody is 20-SDLWKLLPENNV-31. The antibody stains 60% of investigated carcinomas in various organs e.g. breast, colon, pancreas.
