Metal analysis ICP autosampler
There have been parts that we have had to replace that seem like they should have lasted longer. Now we are having issues with the pump on the side of the sampler and the tubing with it.

Excellent autoampler for our Spectrogreen ICP-OES.

Worked without a glitch since we boutht it, one year and a half ago, with a good workload (ICP-OES). Not a single positioning failure detected even with small (10 mL) test tubes.

Inorganic analysis via ICPMS and ICPOES
Recently upgraded a couple of ICPMS instruments to the ASX560XLR autosampler, improved capacity from the 180 we had available on the standard autosamplers to 420. Heavily improved throughput. Added benefits are the cheaper consumables for the unit, for example probes that are about half the price as the standard ones we have to use for the other samplers. Aftersales care is helpful and knowledgeable and aim to get you back up and running if you have any faults. Just two drawbacks - one the cost, it does have a very hefty price tag, being approximately three times more expensive. However the benefit overtime for increased production is very much worth it compared to cheaper models. The second is replacement parts (not consumables), all parts are easy to change inhouse however being in the UK the lead time is usually about 6 weeks (2023), and there are no options within the UK currently to have them fixed sooner, if the unit does accrue a fault then be prepared for some extended downtime.

Do the work, can be better
Protein purification
We use this autosampler to increase throughput of our AKTA Avant. The autosampler does take some effort in setting up. It's not a straight-forward procedure and the instruction is not clear enough. The software issue making it worse. The service people tried hard to help, but I would prefer a better instruction, text/picture or video, which is much more efficient. Even thought setting it up is not easy, the CETAC autosampler is one of few autosampler compatible to AKTA in the market. After setting up, the daily use is easy. It does improve our protein purification automation level a lot. There's still some issue coming from daily usage, like rinse station overflow, and sample skipping. I hope the team can keep optimizing the hardware and software.

ICP Trace metals in water, marine sediment & biota
The ASX-560 is a great upgrade from what we have been using for years the ASX-520. The ASX-560 is far more robust in design and feels much more sturdy. I also like the multiple rinsing it does to eliminate carryover. We have only had it for a few months so I cannot comment on the after sales just yet. So far I am very happy and satisfied.

Great product and customer service
ICP-MS for element trace analysis
I use this product at work, Bilacon Rotterdam, connected to ICP-MS Q for elements trace analysis in food products. The autosampler ASX-560 is an easy product to use and to do maintenance. The repeatability and reproducibility of the results have been tested several times by inter-laboratory and certified external laboratories. Last year the autosampler stopped functioning so I emailed customer service to help me to fix it. After a phone call with a technician, we established the problem with the arm of the autosampler, and the order for a new one was placed and delivered quickly less than 10 days. In the meantime, the technician offered an indoor service or a phone call to help me to dismount and rebuild the arm. I decided to use the manual of the autosampler alone, and since it is well explained I was able to fix it. The technician called back to know if the piece arrived and if I was able to fix it. In conclusion, it is a good product and the customer service provides an excellent customer care.
