Primary human CD33+ cells were isolated from bone marrow (BM) mononuclear cells (MNCs) using positive immunomagnetic separation techniques. BM was collected using heparin as an anticoagulant. CD33 is expressed on cells of myeloid lineage.
Cells were obtained using Institutional Review Board (IRB) approved consent forms and protocols.
